António Canêdo Berenguel

António Canêdo Berenguel was born in Caála, Angola, in 1954. He attended primary school between Luanda and Malanje and secondary school between Vila Nova de Gaia, Malanje, and Luanda, at the former Salvador Correia High School. He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra in January 1979. He completed his legal internship in Bragança and simultaneously taught at the Bragança High School. He registered with the Bar Association, through the Porto District Council, in 1981 and has practiced law independently in Portalegre ever since. He was president of the Portalegre Delegation of the Bar Association, as well as of the Portalegre Group. He is a gardener, music lover, lawyer, and enjoys looking at Marvão.
