Antón Riveiro Coello

Antón Riveiro Coello, nascido em Xinzo de Limia, Galiza, em 1964, é um dos narradores mais destacados e premiados da nova literatura galega. Com "A quinta de Saler" foi finalista do Prémio de narrativa Torrente Ballester em 1998, no ano seguinte, "Animalia" obteve 0 Prémio Café Dublin de Narrativa e "As Rulas de Bakunin" seria Prémio Garcia Barros de Novela no ano de 2000. "Homónima", novela que lhe deu o Prémio Álvaro Cunqueiro de Narrativa publicou-se também nesse ano de 2000. No ano de 2003, a sua última novela, "A Esfinxe de amaranto".
