Anne Weber

Anne Weber was born in Offenbach am Main, Germany, in 1964, and has lived in Paris since 1983. A bilingual author, she also translates from German into French (Sibylle Lewitscharoff, Wilhelm Genazino, among others) and from French into German (Pierre Michon, Marguerite Duras). Similarly, she writes her own books in both German and French. Her works have received the Literature Prize. Heimito von Dodererthe Prize 3sat, the Literature Prize Kranichstein and the Prize Johann Heinrich Voß, between others. Annette, Epic of a Heroine He received the 2020 German Book Prize, the most prestigious award in German literature, and was a finalist for the Prize. Strega European Championship 2021.
