Anna Parisi nasceu em Roma em 1961. Licenciada em Física, foi investigadora no CERN, em Genebra, tendo estado ligada durante 10 anos ao sector científico de uma importante multinacional na área da informática. Dedica-se há cerca de cinco anos à escrita de livros de divulgação científica junto de jovens, tendo sido já galardoada com o prémio Legambiente e para o melhor livro de divulgação científica (Numeri magici e stelle vaganti), primeiro volume desta colecção e com o prémio Andersen 2004.
