Anil Seth

Anil Seth é neurocientista, autor e orador público. Foi pioneiro na investigação sobre as bases cerebrais da consciência durante mais de vinte anos. Além de A Criação do Eu – A Nova Ciência da Consciência (bestseller do Sunday Times, distinguido como Livro do Ano por diversas publicações), Anil Seth é também autor de O Cérebro em 30 Segundos. Seth contribui regularmente com artigos para os periódicos Aeon, The Guardian, Granta, New Scientist e Scientific American. Em 2023, foi galardoado com o Prémio Michael Faraday da Royal Society pelos seus contributos para comunicar os progressos da neurociência e da consciência, e do estudo do que significa ser-se humano. Publicou mais de duzentos ensaios académicos e integra desde 2019 a lista Highly cited researcher da Web of Science, que reconhece os investigadores mais influentes do mundo na última década.
