Angeline Boulley
Angeline Boulley joins the Sault Ste community. Marie tribe of the Chippewa Indians, a Native American group with connections in the United States and Canada, and writes about their community. Ojibwe in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. She was the director of the Indian Education Secretariat in the U.S. Department of Education. Angeline currently lives in southwest Michigan, but her home will always be Sugar Island. She is the daughter of a fire keeper, traditionally responsible for ceremonial fires and spiritual activities within a Native American community. The Daughter of the Fire Keeper This is his first book.
