Andrés Neuman
Andrés Neuman was born in 1977 in Buenos Aires. The son of immigrant musicians, he left for Granada at a young age, where he studied and taught Hispanic-American literature at the university.
Writer, poet, and essayist, he is the author of the novels Bariloche, Life in the windows and Once Argentina, from the short story books The one who waits, the last minute and Illumination, from the collection of aphorisms The tightrope walker and of the volume Decade, which brings together his books of poems published to date.
He received the Hiperión Poetry Prize and was a finalist for the Herralde Prize. Hay FestivalHe was chosen as one of the best authors of the new generation born in Latin America.
In 2009 he received the Alfaguara Prize for Fiction.
