ANDREIA AMARAL, a nurse since 2012 working with adults and the elderly, chose the world of pediatrics after suffering a serious car accident, which sparked a special interest in the safety of babies and children.
Since 2013 in pediatric services, she found her calling in the pediatric emergency room. The critically ill pediatric patient has always been a passion, and she completed her first master's degree in the field in 2017. In 2024, she earned her master's degree and specialization in child and pediatric health.
Focused on continuously improving in her field, she never stopped believing that nursing offers true care, support, and comfort during the most significant moments in families' lives.
From the north to the south of the country, she sought out different hospital environments, which allowed her to consolidate her knowledge and skills, and it was this journey, combined with her experience as a mother, that strengthened the idea of ​​contributing to an innovative project: SOSMAMÃ.
SOSMAMÃ came to prove that nursing is much more than just a white coat, a syringe, and a needle. It's more than helping to cure. It's about prevention. Promoting health and preventing disease is the foundation for families' peace of mind, leading to a healthy and happy path.
