Jornalista desde 1994, começou a carreia na Agência Lusa, depois de se ter licenciado em Ciências da Comunicação na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais de Humanas, da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Seis anos depois rumou ao Diário Económico, para uma muito breve passagem. Saiu para o jornal Público, onde esteve entre o ano de 2000 e o final de 2007. É jornalista do Expresso desde 2008. Foi vencedora de três prémios de jornalismo económico, sozinha e em co-autoria: «PT é o euromilhões dos acionistas», em 2010; «Cimpor, o fim de uma multinacional», em 2013.
