Ana Saraiva

Ana Saraiva Nasceu em França. Antropóloga, doutorada em antropologia (imagens e políticas da cultura e museologia) e mestre em museologia e património (programação museológica) pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Investigadora associada ao Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (cria).

Tem trabalhado nas áreas das representações identitárias, do património e da museologia, privilegiando três linhas de investigação: contextos e representações de (pós-)ruralidade; cultura popular, com a arquitetura popular em destaque; emigração e transnacionalismo.

Tem vários livros e artigos publicados sobre os temas. Participa regularmente em projetos de desenvolvimento local e em encontros técnicos e científicos. Chefia a divisão de ação cultural no Município de Ourém, onde programou e instalou o Museu Municipal (da Rede Portuguesa de Museus), que hoje dirige.
