Ana Punset nasceu em Tarragona em 1981.
Estudou Comunicação Audiovisual na Universidade Pompeu Fabra, em Barcelona, onde ainda hoje vive.
Participou em projetos de cinema e televisão e fez o Mestrado em Guionismo na Universidade Autónoma de Barcelona, além de vários cursos da Escola de Escritores de Madrid, e colabora em várias publicações periódicas espanholas na área da cultura e da crítica literária.
Coautora de alguns romances, que publicou sob pseudónimo, e autora de variados livros infantis e juvenis.
