Ana Paula d'Ascensão

Ana Paula Marcelino Madeira D’Ascensão nasceu em Portalegre, em 1975. Licenciou-se em Geologia pela Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra, em 2000, e defendeu a tese de mestrado pré-Bolonha na mesma instituição, em 2006, com o tema Percursos Geológicos no Parque Natural da Serra de S. Mamede. Um contributo para o ensino da Geologia.
É atualmente professora de Biologia e Geologia na Escola Secundária Mouzinho da Silveira, em Portalegre, e tem acumulado funções docentes, na área da biologia, no Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, desde 2016.
Participa ativamente como oradora convidada em conferências sobre os Locais de Interesse Geológico da Serra de S. Mamede, atuando, mesmo, com alguma regularidade como Guia de Visitas a alguns locais neste âmbito.
