Licenciada em Terapia Ocupacional pela Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto (1987), onde lecionou durante 12 anos. Curso de Estudos Superiores Especializados em Ensino e Administração, na Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto. Exerce funções de Terapeuta Ocupacional no Hospital de Magalhães Lemos, EPE, no Porto, desde 1987, e, também, no Serviço de Psicogeriatria, desde 2013. Coordenadora da área de Terapia Ocupacional deste hospital, desde 2002. Orientadora de estágios da licenciatura de Terapia Ocupacional. Tem dois artigos publicados, em coautoria, em revistas científicas.
