Álvaro Lopes Dias é doutor com agregação em Ciências Empresariais. Doutor em Turismo, mestre em Planeamento e Estratégia Empresarial, pós-graduado em E-Business, MBA em Gestão Internacional e licenciado em Gestão. É docente no ISCTE-IUL, tendo exercido funções noutras instituições como diretor de cursos de doutoramento, mestrado, MBA e licenciatura, departamento e de centros de investigação. Colaborou com o Instituto Superior de Gestão, as Universidades Lusófona, Atlântica e Autónoma e instituições em Angola e Brasil. Acumula experiência letiva desde 1995. Autor de 22 livros e mais de 100 artigos internacionais em publicações de referência. É consultor de gestão, marketing e estratégia em organizações como GNR, IAPMEI, AIP, AEP, Ministério da Economia, AERLIS e empresas em Portugal, Angola e Brasil. Formador certificado pelo IEFP.
