ALLAN L. BEANE, Ph.D., conhece como poucos o fenómeno do bullying: perdeu o seu filho de 23 anos num processo que o próprio acredita estar intimamente relacionado com o bullying de que o jovem foi vítima.
Motivado por essa fatalidade, Allan L. Beane dedicou a sua vida a combater este terrível problema, acabando por se tornar um especialista, orador e consultor internacionalmente reconhecido no tema.
Hoje tem já mais de 30 anos de experiência em educação, sendo autor de vários livros e recursos antibullying, incluindo o bestseller A Sala de Aula sem Bullying. As suas estratégias estão a ser implementadas com sucesso em salas de aula dos Estados Unidos como parte do Bully Free Program (programa antibullying).
