Alka Joshi

Alka Joshi nasceu na Índia e foi viver para os Estados Unidos aos nove anos. Estudou Artes na universidade e dirigiu a sua própria empresa de publicidade e relações públicas. Já viveu em França e Itália, e atualmente reside na Califórnia com o marido. A Tatuadora de Jaipur, o seu primeiro romance, foi um sucesso tão inesperado e estrondoso que incentivou a escritora a continuar a contar a história dos seus personagens numa trilogia. A Tatuadora de Jaipur será em breve adaptado ao grande ecrã com Freida Pinto (Quem Quer Ser Bilionário?) no principal papel.
