Alexandra Cruz nasceu em 1993 no norte de Portugal, na Póvoa de Varzim. Cresceu rodeada de livros, sendo os da Anita os seus favoritos. Formou-se em receção hoteleira, mas foi na escrita que encontrou a sua vocação, sonhando ver os seus livros expostos em livraria e fazer da escrita a sua profissão. Alexandra gosta de escrever romances eróticos com personagens complexas e uma pitada de humor. Em 2017, autopublicou o seu primeiro livro, Sou Tua, que conquistou as leitoras portuguesas. Atualmente, vive na Póvoa de Varzim com a sua família e os seus dois cães.
