He studied at the University of Cambridge, the University of Sussex and at Clown SchoolBefore becoming a full-time writer in 2012, she was an indie rock singer, actress, and songwriter for film and television. She has extensive experience as a coach in various aspects of creative writing. She was responsible for the Master's program in Crime Thrillers at City University of London and taught writing techniques to students at the University of Kent. Currently, she mentors private clients in writing novels and screenplays.
