Alex DeMille

Alex DeMille is a writer, director, and film editor. He grew up on Long Island. He holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a master's degree in film directing from UCLA. His films and screenplays have won numerous awards and grants, notably the film... The Absence, which was screened at dozens of festivals across the US and received the Best Film award at Comic-Con in 2012.
He edited several commercials, independent short films and feature films, among them... My nephew Emmett, nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2018.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
