Alda Martins nasceu em Odemira, em 1972. Licenciada em Economia pelo ISEG, tornou-se jornalista em 1999 no semanário Euronotícias de onde saiu para criar a Agência Financeira, no âmbito da qual colaborou com a Antena 1 e com o semanário O Independente. Em 2003, fez algumas colaborações com a TVI. Em dezembro de 2005, integrou a equipa do Diário Económico e, atualmente, é coordenadora e jornalista do projeto ETV. Em 2009, publicou o livro Lance uma OPA… já!.
