Alcina Cortez

Curadora e produtora de exposições desde 1996, foi Diretora de Visitas do Pavilhão do Futuro na Expo’98 e Produtora Executiva de Exposições no Serviço de Ciência da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (2001-2011). Estudou piano, violoncelo e composição no Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa. Formou-se me Musicologia (1992) e fez cursos de pós-graduação em Estudos de Música Popular (2011) e em Acústica e Estudos do Som (2019). Obteve o grau de mestre em Etnomusicologia / Estudos de Museus (2014) e concluiu o doutoramento (2022), também em Etnomusicologia / Estudos de Museus, com a tese Communicating Through Sound in Museums Exhibitions: Unravelling a Field of Practice, sob a orientação das Professoras Salwa Castelo-Branco e Jennifer Walklate.
