Alan Weisman
He is an award-winning journalist whose reports have been published in Harper's, The New York Times magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, Discoverand NPR, among others. Former editor at Los Angeles Times Magazine, is a senior radio producer at Homelands Productions and professor of international journalism at the University of Arizona. His essay Land Without People (magazine Discover, February 2005), where it was developed The World Without Us, was selected for Best American Science Essay 2006.
