A.L. Kennedy

Duas vezes escolhida pela Granta como uma das melhores jovens escritoras britânicas, A.L. Kennedy recebeu vários prémios, incluindo the Summerset Maugham Award, the Encore Award e the Saltire Scottish Book Of The Year Award. Day é o seu segundo romance, com o qual venceu, entre outros, o Prémio Costa de ficção 2007, o Austrian State Prize for European Literature e o Lannan Award.
Alison Louise Kennedy, escritora escocesa, tem já publicado quatro romances, dois livros de não-ficção e quatro colecções de pequenos contos - Paraíso que a Alêtheia publicou em 2006 é um desses romances.
