Agostino Trapè

Padre Agostino Trapè, da Ordem de Santo Agostinho (OSA), nasceu em Montegiorgio (Itália) em 1915. Foi ordenado sacerdote em 1937 e estudou Teologia Dogmática na Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana em Roma. Foi professor universitário, grande pregador e exerceu várias funções a serviço da Igreja e da sua Ordem: foi consultor do Vaticano em muitas congregações (inclusive no Concílio Vaticano II) e Prior Geral da Ordem (1965-1971). Também promoveu várias iniciativas que ajudaram a disseminar o pensamento de Santo Agostinho. Faleceu em 14 de junho de 1987.
