A.G. Lafley é o chairman e CEO da Procter & Gamble, empresa reconhecida como uma das melhores empresas do mundo e onde têm sido desenvolvidos excelentes líderes na área dos negócios.
Este autor foi nomeado CEO do ano em 2006 pela revista Chief Executive, e pertence ao conselho de administração da GE e da Dell. A sua primeira oportunidade para gerir um negócio surgiu quando se encontrava na marinha, tendo de liderar vários serviços para cerca de dez mil corporações e respectivas famílias.
Quando concluiu a sua licenciatura na Harvard Business School foi para a P&G. Iniciou a sua carreira nesta empresa como assistente de marca em 1977 e foi nomeado CEO em Junho de 2000, 23 anos depois.
